If you are a beginner going on their first shoot or an experienced shot needing help on a double gun day, Dougie is available to accompany you.
Whether shooting locally or nationally, Dougie can help make the day more enjoyable.
For a beginner this may involve help with everything from etiquette and the protocol of shooting, to how to tip the keeper. For those more experienced shots it may be just providing the confidence and help to go for the more testing birds. Either way, he will help make the most of the shooting experience and get the best out of the day.
Occasionally hosts will invite guests who may not until that moment have ever picked up a shotgun or be relative beginners.
Dougie will look after the guest on behalf of the shoot and ensure that all concerned have a safe, relaxing and enjoyable day. From picking the guest up from where they have stayed the previous night, to advising on how to tip the keeper after their first day in the field.
Dougie will explain the days events and format, he will load for the guest and advise which are their birds to shoot. The aim is to take the worry away from the shoot and the guest, and to make sure all act in a safe a proper manner at the same time as having an enjoyable days shooting.
